Living Fuel: Ultimate Fast Food Recipes
Many fruit and vegetable juices work great with LivingFuel (fresh juiced or squeezed organic is best). Citrus or tomato juice seems to be most people's favorite, and lemon juice and lemonade sweetened with low-glycemic natural sweeteners are some of the healthiest choices. Be careful how much sugar you add to your shake through the various juice and fruit options, as sugar is unhealthy and should be reduced or eliminated over time.
Be creative by adding additional healthy ingredients to your serving of LivingFuel. Remember, some of the best things in life are acquired tastes. Discover what works for you and your family by trying various juices, fruits, and almond, rice, or oat beverages.
Most people enjoy chia seeds - the incredibly nutritious tiny whole seeds found in LivingFuel. However, some young children, prefer to have the LivingFuel powder put into a coffee bean grinder to grind up the seeds before mixing a shake or even to have their shakes poured through a strainer to remove the seeds. It is nutritionally best to leave the seeds in; but if you choose to strain out the chia seeds, it is even more important to supplement your diet with LivingFuel’s companion product, Super Essentials Omega or Omega 3&E.

Basic Recipe
For a complete and balanced meal, the basic recipe is to mix one serving (two scoops) of LivingFuel with at least 16 ounces of purified or spring water.
Smoothies
Use a high-speed blender for maximum smoothness. Hand mixers or shakers also work well if you are not adding fruit. Some people like using almond, rice, or oat beverages in their shakes; however, most believe that LivingFuel lends itself more to fruit or vegetable juices.

LivingFuel SuperGreens
LivingFuel Vegetable Smoothie
Mix 2–3 ounces of fresh vegetable juice (e.g., tomato juice) with SuperGreens and water to desired thickness.
Living Fuel Pick-Me-Up (for when you’re not feeling well)
Mix 2–3 ounces of your favorite vegetable or fruit juice with two scoops of LivingFuel plus water in a high-speed blender. Add one to three cloves of fresh garlic or hot peppers plus 1–2 tablespoons of coconut oil and add lemon to smooth the taste. The coconut and lemon tend to hide the garlic.
SuperBaby Formula
Start with a glass baby bottle with the silicone nipple hole cut slightly larger
Add 1 to 4 oz. of coconut milk or coconut milk powder
Add heated purified water and whisk with a fork to break up any clumps
Add cooler purified water to achieve desired consistency and temperature
Add 1/8 - 1/2 scoop of LivingFuel SuperBerry® or SuperGreens (if you like, you may blend it beforehand in a coffee grinder to blend down the chia seeds)
Stir with a fork and then shake
Serve with plenty of smiles and snuggles!
LivingFuel SuperBerry® Ultimate or Original
LivingFuel Fruit SuperSmoothie
Mix the shake as described above, particularly SuperBerry® in the basic recipe, and then add some fresh or frozen berries and/or a third to a half of a banana and a small amount of crushed ice. Blend the ingredients into your drink (try not to make it too cold, as very cold drinks compromise digestion).
Children’s Berry Blast
Most kids prefer SuperBerry®, but either flavor works. For a delicious treat add a splash of orange juice, a splash of apple juice, a splash of almond or rice beverage, and perhaps a few berries to the LivingFuel shake.
Ultimate Recovery Drink
This is a fantastic post-run or post-workout refresher and recovery drink from Living Fuel staff member Jeff Hoening, an avid runner.

Place in refrigerator.
Have a great workout!
On your return, remove the Blender Bottle from the refrigerator.
Remove the lid and add 1 level scoop of LivingFuel SuperBerry® Ultimate.
Replace the lid, shake and enjoy!
