    Even if you didn't reach Craichy's previous book "Super Health: 7 Golden Keys to Unlock Lifelong Vitality", you've got to read this one. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the reports on TV and in the papers about the obesity problem in the US, and yet everywhere I turn I see the latest diet available. Clearly there's something wrong. KC Craichy offers an incredible amount of detail in such a simple to understand manner. He provides insights about the multitude of diets and fads and nutrition information available, and makes it so easy to understand. He then teaches about nutrition principles and educates us on the right way to eat for the long term. The best thing about this book is that it is in fact NOT a new diet. It is teaching us a way of life, a way of eating, which is healthy for us and is based upon solid nutritional requirements that our bodies have. It's that simple. And this is why it is in fact the LAST diet we'll ever need. Well done KC! This is a must read for every American.

    I've finished my copy of The Super Health Diet and was simply amazed at the practical tips, insights and easy-to-incorporate lifestyle changes that will make a huge impact on not just my weight loss goals, but more importantly, my overall wellness and fitness. The author's theme is that weight loss or "weight optimization" is actually a side benefit or by-product of good health or "super health". We should focus on optimizing our health and our ideal weight follows - with countless other benefits such as stablized blood sugar, higher athletic performance, improved digestion and elimination, clearer skin, a sharper mind, more energy, more restful sleep and more! Sounds ideal I know, but The Super Health Diet does a comprehensive, but understandable job of presenting how this is accomplished. I particularly enjoyed KC's chapter on the role and importance of protein and amino acids that I've not read anywhere in my other detailed reading and study. This book has been well-researched and well-written and does a great job of making complex concepts understandable and practical to the common man (or woman). Bring on Super Health!

    I have long been a big fan of KC Craichy's "Super Health 7 Golden Keys to Unlock Lifelong Vitality" book and have recommended it to hundreds of people through the years. I told everyone that Super Health 7 was the best book about diet and health that I had ever read. That was until KC wrote his new book, "The Super Health Diet - The Last Diet You Will Ever Need!" This is now the best diet and health book in existence. It's amazing that one person could write the two best books on a topic as complex as diet and health, but KC Craichy did just that. The book covers everything you want to know about healthy living and eating. His chapter on Protein is worth the price of the book by itself! KC has an amazing grasp of health and nutrition and I'm so glad his new book is now available for everyone to read and use as a guide to their healthy life. Thanks, KC!     All kidding aside, if every home owned a copy of " The Super Health Diet ", we would cease to be an overweight, unhealthy nation. That may sound like a bit of a stretch but the wealth of research-backed science dwarfs every other diet book ever written. Author KC Craichy has seamlessly compiled keys to not only losing weight, but maintaining an ideal weight for life. Good bye yo-yo dieting, hello rock solid, practical advice. If you like this book as much as I do, you'll turn to it as a reference daily. While it is a diet book and can certainly help with weight loss, it is so much more. The SHD is a life diet, Not only should every home own a copy, but there should be a high school and college program based on this book.     A quote in the " Super Health Diet " says " The greatest wealth is health". If that is true, then this book is the treasure map. Many of the health books I have read tend to pick some unique angle ( do you remember the cookie diet or grapefruit diets? ). In Super Health Diet, author KC Craichy tackles numerous health issues and their possible causes and prevention. Not a strict weight loss play, this book also addresses weight loss but not as a rapid loss diet that leaves one starving. Instead, it's a diet that takes the reader on a healthy, sustainable path to reach a weight they can maintain. It's all part of the authors somewhat unique, but totally logical approach to living with optimal health. Craichy does an excellent job of showing just how dangerous extra weight can be and how it relates to a host of serious illnesses. Everyone should own this book!

    Unlike South Beach, Atkins, Weight Watchers, etc. etc., The Super Health Diet is a prescripton for overall health, not just weight loss. My goal (probably yours, too) is a life full of energy, vitality and wellness, not just dropping a few pounds temporarily. This book is a manual do to just that. I enjoyed reading about the history of weight loss and the pioneers that shaped the "industry". How incredible is it that America has the most weight loss programs, centers, books and resources yet we remain the fattest, unhealthiest population? There's got to be a better way.     It takes a brash or very confident author to compare diet books and offer a better solution. In " The Super Health Diet ", that is exactly what author KC Craichy does. If fact, the very first chapter takes a critical but accurate look at numerous diets. Upon review of some of the real darlings of the weight loss industry, we soon realize that even the most popular diets of the last decade have serious flaws. The book doesn't dwell on the negative results of other diets. Instead, it quickly dives into fascinating examples and science that backs a better plan. Even the most jaded of health and diet book readers will find this book to be a refreshing change. If you're like me, you'll soon be shopping, eating and exercising differently.     In the first half of this book it concisely reviews every diet that exists and objectively provides the truth about each one. It then provides not just a diet but a fascinating discussion of the latest discoveries in the science of nutrition as it applies to our lives. Not just what to do but why you need to do it. The way the body works to absorb food to make bone, muscle and necessary fats. I cannot do things just because someone says so. I need the reason and the understanding of why I should do it. KC has provided this information in an easy to read book that is essential reading for anyone that cares about their body and health. This is the only book you need to understand why diets and the whole concept of a diet will not work. It is from the knowledge and understanding that this book provides that will create the understanding in each of us of what a healthy lifestyle is, then it is our responsibility to make the right choices. It is not about eating a non fat diet, grapefruit diet or another monoculture diet but is about making informed decisions about what to eat, drink and how we lives our lives.     During a recent visit to my Dr. for a routine checkup, my Dr. suggested I lose 30 lbs. I didn't need a Dr. to come up with that obvious truth, my mirror makes that painfully obvious every day. What I did need was a diet that I could adhere to for the long haul. What I found in The Super Health Diet was something missing from most every diet book- common sense. Just about any diet can help someone shed 5 or 10 lbs in the short term, but none that I have found can deliver a long term plan. This book has solid advice on many health issues as weight loss is not tied to just one thing. Emotional health ( much needed advice! ), sleep, diet supplements, spas, anti-aging, hydration, it's all covered here. Truly the last diet this overweight reader will need.

    I have been a vegan for years not because I dislike meat, but because I have viewed it as healthier than other diets. After reading the logical reasoning behind The Super Health Diet, I am wondering where this book has been all my life! It covers so many nutrition dilemmas and has real answers for things such as the amount of protein we need to consume on a daily basis and is dairy good for you.     I'm a burgers and fries kind of guy and just saying the word diet is as difficult as eating broccoli for me, but, I was rejected for a good rate on a life insurance policy and needed to make some changes. One of my wife's friends learned about The Super Health Diet and one thing led to another and here I am, weeks into this diet. It's easier than I imagined and I feel great. I have resisted dieting before as I can't stomach the thought of tofu or eating incredible amounts or fiber! This diet just makes sense. If I get to my desired weight, I just might treat myself to a cheeseburger. If I do, author KC Craichy will be proud to know that now I would eat an organic, grass fed beef burger!

    As an author and former competitive bodybuilder, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. "Super Health Diet" is the most complete resource on weight loss (and health) that I have seen in my 15+ years of research. I agree 100% with the title - I firmly believe that this is the LAST diet book you will ever need. Not only is "SHD" written in a clear and concise manner and chock full of up-to-date nutritional information, but it also contains recommendations and practical direction from the author (K.C. Craichy) on how to apply the information and improve your health. Say "goodbye" to guesses and "hello" to the facts about how to maintain an ideal weight and provide proper nutrition for your entire body. Mr. Craichy left no stone unturned; the book discusses the important of proper hydration, antioxidants, healthy fats, the glycemic index, and even contains a chapter on the thyroid gland, which is often overlooked in the "super health" equation. I think "SHD" should be required reading for every practicing doctor in the USA, and would be beneficial for anyone who desires to achieve optimal health. Bottom line: "Super Health Diet" is a motivating book jam-packed with information about lifestyle, nutrition, and obtaining and maintaining health that everyone needs to know.     Being diabetic since my 20's, I am careful about jumping on the newest fad diet. What impressed me most about The Super Health Diet is the comprehensive approach to health. It's really not a diet, it's a lifestyle plan that when followed, results in one reaching their optimum weight. Whether you have food allergies, dietary restrictions or a strong dislike for certain foods or exercises, it's not a problem with this diet as it offers numerous " good " choices from lists of high nutrition value foods. After reading the chapter on anti-aging, I've come to believe that it is more important to pay attention to what I am consuming in my diet than what I am buying at the Macy's cosmetic counter. Mr. Craichy, you've changed my health in the short term and can't wait to see what happens years from now

    My dear friend and neighbor seems to always be on the newest and most publicized diet program. You name it, she has tried it. When she showed me her copy of The Super Health Diet I figured it would be yet another gimmick diet. I could not have been more wrong. It is a diet that I know can change my health and probably my neighbors as well. Best of all, it doesn't seem to have an agenda, a refreshing change among the diet books I have read over the last 5 years. Well done!

    As a long time subscriber to Mike Adams' newsletter, I have come to rely on his recommendations. He rarely endorses a diet. His recommendation convinced me to give it a shot. What I found in The Super Health Diet is a book so jammed packed with information ( 400+ pages ) that I found an answer to most every lingering health question I had. This book isn't only about weight loss, although it is great for those needed to drop a few pounds. Author KC Craichy references numerous other health books and pioneers which he has drawn from. I read " Testosterone for Life " recently and was surprised to see it and other books given credit throughout this complete and compelling health book. I am 100% confident in recommending this book.     Once or twice a year I stand in bewildered confusion as I sift through the years new crop of diet books. I am told that vegan is great, or that high protein, no carb is best , or that a fruit flush diet is best. While I am ashamed to admit to how many of these en vogue diets I have actually tried, I freely admit that none have worked. It's almost enough to believe in a publishing conspiracy. Perhaps the publishers don't want any diet to succeed or they would have no customer base the following year! Many diet books proclaim that their diet will be the last one you will ever need. Thanks to the realistic and highly practical advice in the Super Health Diet, I'd be surprised if it didn't work for the long term for anyone that tries it, it's that good. Some very respected health professionals have endorsed SHD. Being somewhat of a diet book expert, or at least a heavy purchaser, I don't recall a diet book that comes close to the peer reviewed science found throughout SHD. Buy this book, follow the blueprint and live a leaner, healthier life!

    Numerous Doctors praise the Super Health Diet and for good reason. Rather than trying to reinvent the wheel, the author chose sound, proven science over trendy fad diet advice. As a " baby boomer " , the anti-aging and antioxidant info made the purchase more than worth it. One of my favorite terms in this sometimes controversial book is " super fats ". This advice was tremendously comforting as I have been on more " low fat " diets than I care to remember. The Super Health Diet reveals how many popular diets fail because they are a temporary fix at best and at worst, dangerous to one's health. Pills and perscriptions: check Spas; check The Super Health Diet covers a broad range of health topics and isn't shy about telling the good, the bad and the downright dangerous, no matter who it offends. Finally, an honest, no holds barred diet book. Great job Mr Craichy.

    I was familiar with author KC Craichy from his first book, " Super Health, the 7 golden keys". My initial concern was that the Super Health Diet would be a rehash of the original book. While some of the original content is present, the new book has so much more information. Our family has a history of diabetes and dementia and we strive to do all we can to eat healthy and limit big pharma drugs. Surprisingly, these 2 diseases, along with many others, are covered in The Super Health Diet. The authors wholistic approach to disease prevention is timely. And, yes, it is also a diet as in weight loss. Unlike pure weight loss books, this diet book takes that uses a complete regimen of nutrition, sleep,, stress reduction, proper hydration, super foods, super antioxidants and so much more to create a healthy plan. I didn't think it would be possible to build significantly on his very good previous book, but Mr. Craichy has done it. If your family or any loved one, neighbor, co-worker , etc is not living with optimal health, buy them this book!!!

    A good book. Lots of science, hurt my brain to read a little. Had to re-read sections to understand. Followed some stuff and it seemed to have the effect that was described in the book. It is written by a person with a supplement business, so it advertises that quite a bit. The first half explaining different diet trends is a good reference and it doesn't say all of them are bad. The second half is the recommended diet, which includes mostly whole foods, supplements and some exercising tips along with the science of everything. It is pretty good, at least nothing is dumbed down (as in most of the diet books I've read). But I do want to see a coupon in the book for the supplements that covers the price of the book since I kind of feel like I paid to be advertised to. Overall, good to explain all of the diets you've tried or wanted to try. Good for science behind diets.

    I recently tried the Eat Clean Diet and while it made sense, this is the book I have been searching for. If fad diets worked, I would have lost weight years ago. I almost believe there is a conspiracy to launch a new diet every year that doesn't work so that the masses will buy the latest/greates diet next year. I know I am not alone in this. The author is not a Dr., but he is a very wise man and has assembled the best advice and produced The Super Health Diet". On page 197 he addresses the loss of brain tissue. I must have lost a LOT of brain tissue over the years as I bought too many diet and health books. The cover says this is the last diet I will need, trust me, it is the last diet anyone that reads it will need. Incredible book!!!!! Kathie

    Seriously, if Oprah were to try The Super Health Diet instead of some of the fad diets she promotes, maybe she'd stay " thin Oprah " instead of the Oprah that fluctuates up and down so drastically in weight. I know, because I too have bounced up and down in lbs and health at the whim of the latest diet craze. As this book will likely not be on Oprah's recommended reading list, I wanted to be sure to write a positive review. If you buy only one diet book in your lifetime, make it this book. It works and you won't need another diet. Maybe they should have called it " The Diet to End All Diets, Diet!

    The new Super Health Diet Book by K.C. Craichy is Awesome! I had questions and I needed answers and this book gave them to me. If you are like me (or the majority of us in the U.S.) you have struggled with trying to eat healthy, stay in shape and maintain your "ideal" weight. It was not until I read this book that I finally got my questions answered. K.C. goes into great length to review the most popular mainstream "diets" of our time and I would venture to guess that each and every one of us has tried at least two of them, without long term satisfying results. He explains what works and what does not and most importantly, why. His research, analysis, and knowledge of this subject are second to none. The information provided has been thoroughly researched and backed up with study after study down to the microbiology level. He also educates you on what the Super Health Diet and lifestyle should be and how to maintain it. This book can now be the one by which all other books are measured. The real secret to success is not just following a particular diet, but knowing how and why it works and what affects it has on your body and your overall health. A perfect example is the author's detailed explanation of the "set point theory". As soon as I read about that in the book, it was like a revelation to me. That was it! I did not understand how and why my body did what it did until I read this. By following the guidelines of the Super Health Diet, I have lost approximately 30 pounds and have been able to maintain the weight loss and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. That is nothing short of miraculous with the hectic schedule that I maintain. I travel on more than 100 flights per year and practically live on the road in airports, restaurants, and hotels. This book, along with the author's other book, "7 Golden Keys to Unlock Lifelong Vitality", are constant travel companions with me on the road. This is a must have for every business traveler, pilot, flight attendant, coach, personal trainer, health practitioner, OK...everyone!!! I know it because I experience it each and every week. Everyone is rushing through airports with barely any time to make it to the next flight. The only choice is to stand in those long lines at the popular pizza, chicken, and burger joints and eat in 5 minutes at the gate or carry it on the plane. You know this as well because you see it too! This book and the knowledge within will help change all of that and get you on the road to Super Health!
